Rocket propulsion: do the calculations described and make a graph of the results:A Soyuz class rocket has a mass of 3.0 x 10 5 kg on the launch pad. Assume that 2.8 x 105 kg is fuel. Assume theremainder is the payload that “makes it” to space. This means it has enough kinetic energy to exit earth’s gravitationalpull, an escape speed of 11.2 km/s near earth! To give the payload an impulse the fuel is ejected with a high speed of3 km/s (from the explosive power) in a typical reaction like this. Its downward momentum provides the upwardimpulse to the payload.  Consider:  1   exhausting the entire fuel at 1 time in an “explosion”2   Exhaust half of the fuel, then the other half of the fuel3   Exhaust 1/3, then 1/3 then 1/34   Exhaust ¼, then ¼, then ¼, then the remaining 1/4.  [4] Calculate the 4 resulting payload velocities[4] Make a hand drawn plot on graph paper of the speed of the payload (vertical) vs the number of ejections ofexhaust (horizontal). Also on this plot show the escape speed from earth for reference.
