· All students will select a an artist, architect, or philosopher of merit, will research his/her contributions and accomplishments, will research other artists or movements that have been influenced by the selected individual, and will present a five minute oral report to the class explaining the importance of the selected individual and the depth of his/her contributions. The artist must someone who creates art (example: composer, not singer) rather than someone who interprets it.
