Thanks Brian for sharing your ideas and proposed topic. My concern is that in this case, you want to evaluate the effectiveness of a treatment and this can be done quantitatively and I'm sure it has been done in the past. It is a medical study and the goal of your program is to have a focus on education (that is my understanding). Once you mention the use of "variables' and "treatment" then it makes your study quantitative/experimental in nature. Why use a qualitative research approach here when your interest is not on the perceptions of participants?
