Organizational Behavior Paper

 

Organizational behavior covers a wide range of topics.  The purpose of this paper is to learn in further detail about a topic relative to organizational behavior of interest.

 

Guidelines for an Effective Paper

  • Write the paper in APA format. If you don’t have the manual, get one, or access online.
  • Do NOT use secondary citations.
  • Provide a comprehensive, integrated literature review. While most of the literature you cite should be recent, within the last 5 years, be sure and include seminal work in the literature before this time.
  • Include work from the nursing, health care administration, and organization literature in
  • your literature review, i.e. use multiple data bases. Analyze the current state of health care related to chosen topic. The analysis should include strengths and weaknesses in the current system as they relate to the topic.
  • Make recommendations for practice, research, and education as relevant and based on the content of your paper.
  • Include a specific section on the role of the nurse leader.

 

Evaluation Process

 

  1. The paper should be 12 to 15 pages in length, including at least 15 references.
  2. The paper will be evaluated on how well the 3 criteria of content, writing, and format are addressed.

  • The broader topic I have chosen is “Cultural Change in Nursing Homes”
  • The instructor said the broader topic is ok, but wants me to narrow the topic a bit, so I’ve narrow it down and will like the paper to focus on “Cultural Change in Nursing Home to Create a More Home-Like Environment”
